The garden after: 

After clearing away the overgrown sumacs, and invasive English ivy, the homeowner is able to see their yard again! Now there is plenty of room for the wanted plants to stretch their legs. 

Mead

The garden after: 

Low-maintenance perennials installed, including viburnums, tall grasses, and many flowers with some lattice. 

Eagle Ridge

There was actually quite a few hiding in there! After a nice layer of compost-mulch and removing the encroaching grass, these now have room to grow.
